about
Francesco Zanatta is an Italian filmmaker working between experimental documentary and found footage. His practice centers on a long-term project documenting the Piave river with different techniques and a phenomenological approach to landscape. His found-footage work is based on internet material to explore obsession, the uncanny, and collective memory. His films have been presented at the Pesaro Film Festival, the Filmmaker Festival in Milan, and the Light Matter Film Festival in Alfred, New York.
